New Business:

President Shope announced that FWC will be attending our next meeting and update us on a livewell study they are conducting. They are asking that we allow them to place livewell sensors on our boat during the Talquin tournament. We will need at least 10 boats to participate.

President Shope announced that the next two meetings will have to be held outside of the meeting room at Smashburger as the room is spoken for. We will meet in the main restaurant or outside.

Mike Thomas reviewed the Lake Seminole tournament.
1st-John Rudolph
2nd-Rick Johnson
3rd-Dick Durbin
Big Fish-Rick Johnson
This was a 3 fish limit. There was one dead fish at weigh in.

Mike reviewed AOY standings available on the website with and without drops.

A vote was held on the location and time of the Lake Talquin tournament to allow Mike Thomas to obtain permits.

It was decided that the Lake Talquin tournament would be held from safe daylight-3PM from Hall’s Landing.

Further discussion and a vote will be held at the next meeting to determine if we wish to stay with the 3 fish limit for the Lake Talquin tournament or return to 5 fish.

Billy Owens brought up the Brent Zapata pledge situation. He voiced his displeasure with the way this was handled. He feels a pledge should be voted on as soon as they meet the requirements for membership. He reiterated the rule that says a club member may not be a member of another bass club within 75 miles. He does not feel exceptions should be made to this rule in the interest of a single member.

Dollar Pot was won by Les Shope

Meeting adjourned at 8:05 (motion Dick Durbin, 2nd Chris Edrington)
